Privacy policy

In short: Corral doesn't collect any data. It has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. It connects only to computers you add, directly over SSH.
What stays on your iPhone
- The machines you add (name, address, username) and your settings.
- Corral's own SSH key, kept in the iOS Keychain. If you enter a password to install that key, it's used once and not stored, unless you choose to save it in the Keychain.
- A cache of agent chats, so they open quickly. You can clear it by deleting the app.
What goes to your computer
Everything Corral shows comes from computers you add, over an encrypted SSH connection. Corral runs commands there to read herdr's status and Claude Code chats, and sends the prompts, photos and comments you write. Photos you attach are saved in ~/.corral/uploads on that computer.
If you turn on optional features, Corral installs small helpers in ~/.corral on your computer: one that saves your Claude usage percentages, and one that sends instant alerts. The usage helper reads Claude Code's login on your computer only to ask Anthropic for your usage. The login never leaves your computer.
Notifications
Alerts are created on your iPhone. If you set up instant alerts, your device's push token is stored on your own computer so it can notify you. It isn't sent to us.
Microphone and speech
Hold-to-talk uses Apple's speech recognition to turn your voice into a prompt. Audio is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy and isn't stored by Corral.
Third parties
Corral shares nothing with third parties. Tailscale, if you use it, is a separate app with its own policy.
Children
Corral is a developer tool and isn't directed at children.
